Wanda DeBruler
Wanda DeBruler, owner of DeBruler, Inc., is a renowned consultant in Oklahoma's affordable housing and nonprofit development, directing millions to uplift low-income households for over three decades. Her firm advised the HOME ARP Homeless research team and played a crucial role in housing consultations for various organizations. She co-founded Housing for Communities, Inc., and the Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing. Ms. DeBruler's career spans consulting on national initiatives, executive roles, and contributions to published works. Recognized with state and federal awards, her expertise lies in grants management, resource procurement, and a deep understanding of protocols, coupled with strong communication and coaching skills.
Andrea Frymire
Andrea Frymire is the Vice President of Community Investments at Midwest Housing Equity Group (MHEG), where she leads capital-raising efforts from small and mid-size institutional investors across MHEG’s footprint for various investment funds. With over 25 years of experience in property management, commercial real estate, and affordable housing, Andrea has a rich background that includes roles as Partner at Welcome Home Management Services, L.L.C., Dobson Mortgage Corp., and Broker/Owner of Oklahoma Investment Realty, Inc. Andrea is a licensed real estate broker and instructor, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Radford University, a Master’s in Real Estate with a focus on Commercial Real Estate Investment and Analysis, and a CCIM designation. She has been instrumental in promoting awareness, advocacy, and training on housing issues for attorneys, housing providers, social workers, lending institutions, and real estate professionals impacting low to moderate-income households. Andrea is a dedicated community leader, serving as a Founder and Inaugural Board President for the Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing, she has held numerous national committee positions with the National Association of REALTORS® related to affordable housing, commercial real estate, federal taxation and other policy related issues.
Jean Cooper
Jean Cooper has served in a variety of administrative positions including the Executive Director of the Northeast Oklahoma Community Action Agency, the Assistant Director for Services for Persons with Developmental Services at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, and the Assistant Director of the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. Jean also served as the President of Oklahoma Association of Community Action Agencies and President of the Governor’s Interagency Council on Homelessness. She has worked with various committees and organizations seeking to provide services for low-income citizens and persons with developmental disabilities as well as participating in regional partnerships in the agency’s service area. She retired from public service in 2017 and currently serves as a consultant to several community action agencies and other agencies in conducting housing services, data services, management training and grant writing.
